 Appointed  BOPIO Culture Secretary for the UK 

She has been participating in BOPIO , meetings as a Key Note Speaker since 2015. 

She completed a doctoral thesis on sub-Saharan Africa( post-independence)with an emphasis on Senegal. 
She explores Africa's cultural and social development in the twenty-first century. As, she is particularly in the various mediums and tools of expression that African writers, musicians, and cinematographers are using to promote their culture/ languages. She is now looking to focus on 'new voices from below' - women, students, and other disenfranchised groups who have been systematically left out of the post-independence Nationalist agenda including the people of the Indian Subcontinent and Africa to widen her field of knowledge.
